Preface
Thank to those who joined this
lecturing and succes built the team work as the implementation of PBLL
Publishing. The learning target for the publishing students are textual
language either in sentence building or making start-up business profile.
In this lecturing students had been
scouted to use the basic skill of reading, writing, listening, speaking through
learning steps of Prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, publishing,
marketing, delivering. The student's competence indicated by the learning
porpolios of two options, namely:
Option I: Sentence Building
Find a short article on the specific subject and do Content
Analysis through the following indicators:
1.Sentence building 5W1H based the chosen subject
2.Listing Verbal and Nominal Sentence
3.Changing sentences

The
development of information-computer
technology has now reached a stage where the size is getting smaller, the speed
is getting higher, but the price is getting cheaper compared to its
employability. This condition encourages people to compete to use computers as
data processing aids by building computerized data processing systems for the
presentation of information, both for personal and organizational purposes.
Library as an organization that processes data and information for its users
has taken revolutionary steps in performing services through online systems
that are more efficient in service, dissemination, use and preservation of
data, information and knowledge.
Online
information sources are currently considered to be information in a new form
from an existing source of information. Online information sources are a
collection of information organized in such a way, Online information sources
are stored in digital format and can be accessed through a computer network. In
the last year there has been a burst of growth in the development and use of
online information sources. Some of the supporting factors are:
a)
The availability of computing and communication technologies that enable the
creation, collection and manipulation of information.
b)
International network infrastructure to support connection and operating
capabilities for users.
c)
Online information is beginning to grow.
d) A
common internet access framework has emerged.
The
development of online publishing sources is the impact of the world revolution
in publishing, the world of Publishing is the oldest information industry in
the world, even the age of human civilization. Changing times make the
publishing industry more varied in publishing publications in various forms,
such as at this time the development of information technology gave birth to
new variants in the world of publication, namely digital publishing or
electronic publishing.
Digital
publishing or electronic publishing is a new method in the delivery of
information today, of course this is closely related to the library as an
information center, the library must be able to adopt the method or way used by
digital publishing / e-publishing in all aspects, especially in the search for
digital information so that the information can be found and used by the
library.
This
certainly affects the way the library organizes in its digital form to be
easily traced and also affects how the library traces information in the form
of digital publishing / e-publishing in the library.
2.
Definition of Digital/Electronic Publishing
Sumber:
catatanpustakawan.com
Digital publicization is a development of desktop
publishing that developed in the 80s and 90s digital publishing / e-publishing
is a method of publishing using information and communication technology, or
simply digital publishing it can be interpreted as printing media in digital
form not printed into the form of paper (newspapers, magazines, etc.), or it
can be said that the print edition is digitally online.
The electronic publishing process follows the traditional
publishing process but differs from traditional publishing in two ways:
1) excluding using offset printing to print the final
product and
2) avoiding the distribution of physical products. Because
electronic content can be distributed over the Internet and through electronic
bookstores. Consumers can read content published on websites, apps on tablet
devices, or computers.
The benefits of electronic publishing use three attributes
of digital technology: XML tags to define content, style sheets to determine
the appearance of content, and metadata to describe content for search engines.
By using tags, style sheets and metadata, it enables reflowable content that
adapts to various reading devices or delivery methods. Because electronic
publishing often requires text mark-ups to develop online methods.
3.
Expert's point of view
According to F.W.
Lancaster, "Electronic publishing is the process of publication in
which the manuscript is delivered in electronic format, edited, printed, and
even distributed to the reader (user) in electronic form using computer and
telecommunication technology."
"The production of
documents in computer-readable form for distribution over a computer network or
in another format such as a CD ROM."
"Electronic
issuance is the electronic commerce in digital goods and services intended for
consumption by human reason."
CHAPTER II ACCESSORIES
1.
A Brief History About
E-Publishing
In 1455, Johannes
Gutenberg invented his type-moving press. And the first book of the
"Gutenberg 42-line bible "was produced by Gutenberg's printing press.
This technology allows for the manufacture of high-quality printing documents
at the cost of small hand transmission. This discovery changed the printing
scenario and was thought to be a landmark. After decades, in 1490, aldus
manutius founded the aldine press in Venice. Many changes were made and many
presses appeared to begin printing documents. From them, Abraham ortelius
produced the first modern atlas - including rum orbis terrarum in 1570 and
slowly produced such a production would gain commercial profits, contributors
and associates would begin making a living. It was discovered that Alexander
Pope, the translator of the Iliad, became the writer who paid more in 1720.
The second landmark in
this area as discovered was the first commercial production of wood pulp paper
in 1840. During this period the hand-drafting process is done by hand ata rate
of about 2000 letters an hour. In 1883, tolbert langston invented the first
mechanical typesetting machine, called monotype. With monotypes, the letters
are set at 6,000 an hour.
In the last century, as
discovered, the work of h g Wells became important. He wrote 'the world's
brain' in 1938. The world's brain was Wells's vision of a vast print
encyclopedia of all human knowledge where the production company would become a
new institution of knowledge and education. In 1945, vannevar bush wrote an
essay to describe a device called the 'memex'. 'memex' is the size of a table
for storing books and other materials on microfilm, and it has the ability to
connect and connect the parts between the documents. Another notable discovery
in the twentieth century is probably hypertext.
The term 'hypertext'
was coined by ted nelson in 1965. Ted nelson also wrote about the xanadu
project in which all of the world's works are permanently stored in a
universally accessible warehouse. In the same year (1965 m) Marshall McLuhan,
media prophet, predicted the forthcoming impact and potential benefits of
merging technology and electronic books, as at that time digital computers
already existed, and the advent of computer technology with printing began in
word processing form. In 1968, Alan kay invented a cardboard model of a
dynabook - a computer with a million pixar screen. It's basically a visionary
device, which kay claims to be something more like super paper. In 1971 the
'Gutenberg' project began creating a free classical library of computers at the
university of Illinois with Michael hart after he wrote the 'declaration of
independence.' By the end of 2001, the Gutenberg collection had passed through
10000 titles. In 1979, doug Adams released the popular science fiction novel,
'the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy,' where ford's protagonist perfect
studied the galaxy for a large electronic book called the hitchhiker's guide.
The random house electronic thesaurus is, in a sense, the first commercially
available "electronic book" in the world, published in 1981. It's
another landmark for today's electronic publishing. In 1986, franklin
electronic publishers placed a dictionary

The Development of
Digital Publishing
Sumber:
Scriptarnica.com
Digital publising is
the development of the expanding desktop publishing in the 80's and 90's
digital publishing/e-publishing isa method of publishing by using information
technology and communication, or in a simple digital publishing may be
interpreted as printing media in digital form not printing to paper (newspaper,
magazine, etc), or it can be said to be digitally integrated.
The electronic publishing process follows the
traditional publishing process but differs from the traditional publishing
process in two ways: 1) not to mention using offset prints to print the final
product and 2) to avoid the distribution of the physical product. Because
electronic content can be distributed through the Internet and through
electronic bookstores. Consumers can read content published on web sites, apps
on tablet devices, or computers. In some cases readers can print content using
printers or through printing on system requests.
Benefits of electronic
publishing using three digital technological attributes: a XML tag to determine
content, a style sheet to define content, and metadata to illustrate the
content for search engines. By using tags, style sheets and metadata, this allows
reflux content to adapt to various devices or methods of delivery. Because
electronic publishing often requires mark-up text to develop shipping methods
online, traditional typesetters and designers have changed. Designers should
know more about language mark-ups, multiple devices available, and ways in
which consumers read the issue. However, as information technology develops
today scores of design software that appears today have been integrated with
programmed languages such as HTML, XML and so on that designers can publish
content according to the standard programming without the need to know
programming, such as adobe systems' digital publishing suite and apple ibooks.
the most common file format used in digital publishing/e-publishing is. Epub,
this format is used in various e-book formats, Which is free and open standards
available in many publishing programs. Another common format is the folio, used
by the adobe digital publishing suite to create content for the apple tablets
ipad and applications.
Digital
publishing/e-publishing in the world of scientific publications also
experienced dramatic advance after the article was left to the journal for
consideration, a delay that ran from a few months to even more than two years
before it was published in the journal, rendering the journal less than ideal
for disseminating the current study. In some fields like astronomy and some
parts of physics, the role of the journal in disseminating the latest research
has been largely replaced by preprint repositors like arxiv. However,
scientific journals still play an important role in quality control and build
scientific credit. In many cases the electronic materials uploaded to the
preprint repository are still intended to be published in a journal.
3.
The Influence of
E-Publishing in Various Aspects
Digital
publishing/e-publishing brings much influence to search information especially
to information providers such as libraries, currently virtually all libraries
provide information in digital form. The library will need to do a number of
innovations in its services to make the digital publication accessible to the
praisers. In this case at least three items are essential for the library in
designing for its digital portal to be easy to swallowch, among other things:
1. Information Architecture
Aspects
Information
architecture. Those who practice information architecture are often called
information architect. Some people use other terms like Findability Engineer
and Structural Designer. The term information architecture appears since 1996
that Richard Saul wurman's popularized in his book information architecture.
It's just that he found his momentum as the web grows more popular, and
information retrieval begins to go wrong. There are four key components of
information architecture:
·
Organizing Information
·
Labeling Information
·
Navigation Systems
·
Searching Systems
Information
organizations may be defined as the science and art of how to structuring
(classifying) information, labeling information are the giving of terms
considered to be a representation or a group of information/concept
information. A step in the architecture of information that allows people to
organize and locate it. Comprising them determines the depth of information
(granularity) and determines connections to one another and sets information in
categories and connections (semantics). As a discipline of science, information
architecture has a variety of scientific methods (science), but the practice of
information architecture is developing and there is so much ambiguity and
complexity that even an informed architect needs to rely on experience,
intuition, and creativity.
Navigation systems
discuss how to guide web users from one information to the next without losing
orientation. The most common types of navigation systems are 3: global
navigation, local navigation, and contextual navigation. In addition to other
navigation systems, such as: sitemaps, site indexes, table of contents and
guides. As the web user's needs grow, a new approach to navigation begins. Such
as personalizing, customization, visualization, and social navigation.
Search systems discuss
the search through search engines. Among other things are learned: search
interfaces, query language, retrieval retrieval (retrieval retrieval) search
systems also talk about problems in information retrieval (information
retrieval) such as: relevancy (the relevancy of the document found) and
precision (accuracy of the document found), and an intersection of search
results (ranking).
2. Data Integration
Libraries rely heavily
on information processing systems to support their operation and on that stage
the library performs data and/or knowledge processing systems that are
presented in the form of databases, databases that are the basis of
system-based transactions. This also applies to the digital
publishing/e-publishing issue because it is an object of information
management, which is also presented in the form of a database, which requires
an integrated system between the library of digital publishing/e-publishing
order information redundancy can be reduced, there are no longer separate and
isolated databases so that relevant information collecting does not take long.
The Alhawary (2011)
integration of important library databases is conducted because often young
ones have a limited time in the search for information spread across the
various libraries in the digital publishing/e-publishing form. But the frequent
problem is metadata, often unstandardized data storage that makes it difficult
to access information in the database. For that, database integration will need
to think of a way an integrated database system that allows devoteds to quickly
access information even though different metadata formats are.
According to
Ratanasawetwad and Yu (2009) there are three important things to analyze in
running a good database integration. The first step is to analyze the
techniques used in database storage; Any format used in the various databases.
The second step is to analyze the software needs to be used. The study includes
three software developed that is loadflow analysis for the balance of
transmission systems, loadflow analysis program for distribution system
imbalances, and short circuit analysis programs. Orientation techniques to
objects are applied to software and implementation databases. The third stage
is implementation of the interface which will be used by user to access the
database through the application software. These three stages are used to analyze
obstacles in the integration of databases.
3. Human Computer
Interaction (HCI)
Human Computer
Publishing (HCI) is the study of human interaction, the HCI study computer is
how humans and computers interactive perform and complete the task/task and how
the interactive systems are created between the user and the digital
publishing/e-publishing interface. All user interactions start from interfaces
and information techniques often develop and design their interface without
regard for user needs. As a result, often digital libraries can no more benefit
users. The view of the interface is an initial gateway to a digital
publishing/e-publishing, to which a digital
publishing/e-publishing must consider aspects as follows:
1. Look
should be nice and interesting
2.
Easily operated
3. Easy
to learn
4. The
user needs to feel comfortable using it.
For that the library
must develop a interface mechanism capable of understanding user needs. The
view should be oriented on human/bleached or human friendly intellegent
interface. Human friendly intellegent interface is an interface display that
enables increased intellectual productivity in the form of facilities that
enable different users to pursue methods of search and association of
documents. The design analysis of human friendly intellegent interface that
corresponds with update characteristics must be done, since each digital
library user has different characteristics. A person's behavior in seeking
information is influenced by the cognitive forces of that person.
CHAPTER III SOURCES
1. Categories from E-Publishing
Electronic publishing can be categorized in two ways.
1. Off-line
2. Online
In off-line publishing information is entirely left to the
ownership of the buyer or user, who can access it in unlimited quantities
without further changes. For example computer software or reference materials
on compact discs in physical and transportable form. It can be accessed
repeatedly using electronic readers such as personal computers or compact disc
players.
In online publications, the information remains in the
publisher's controlled computer, usually accessible only by payment of a fee
for each use. Unlike off-line publishing online publishing can be constantly
updated, managed and refined. In off-line publishing publishers have no way to
update the database quickly. So a new edition or supplement should be
distributed periodically to each user.
2. Types of E-Publishing
Along with the development of digital publishing /
e-publishing technology is divided into two types, among others:
a.
Digital
publishing/e-publishing traditional versions of
media; Digital publishing / e-publishing this type is a national media such as
books, magazines, newspapers and so forth that are converted into Digital
publishing / e-publishing, such as;
• CD-ROM
• E-book
• Electronic journal
• Online magazine
• Online newspaper
• Portable Digital Format (. PDF)
b.
Digital publishing /
e-publishing New Media : Digital publishing / e-publishing this type is a new
media that is developing today, including Digital publishing / e-publishing
this type is:
• Blog
• Collaborative software
• Digital publication app
• File sharing
• Mobile apps
• Podcast
3. E-publishing Needs
Sumber
: geckoandfly.com
The
exponential growth in publishing has resulted in more difficulty in retrieving
information from libraries and other sources as existing literature is
widespread. The need to reduce the time required in conventional publishing and
the realization of the potential and unique features of electronic media are
some of the reasons that led to the shift in emphasis from conventional
publishing to electronic publishing. There are four main reasons for the
development of e publishing,
- Rapid
development and widespread use of computer technology.
-
Tremendous growth of computer networks.
-
The merger of computer technology and telecommunications.
The process of electronic issuance is done through electrical copying. Electro copying is the process of converting mold material into an electronic form, this is achieved by scanning the printed material into an electronic database where text is stored in the form of images or characters encoded by scanning techniques.
CHAPTER
IV KINDS/QUALIFICATIONS
1. Understanding
E-Book
Cannot be denied if
ebook now begins to be plentiful. This is because many smartphones that support
it can read ebook, plus great cellphone storage capabilities. So more and more
ebooks can be stored in phones and read from time to time.
In recent times ebook
has become much more popular because it is not necessary to take books
physically. Just enough to carry a smartphone, we can read anywhere and
whenever we need it. So if an age of sophisticated technology like this still
leaves some wondering what to do, it's a little strange. Because there is much
that can be done through technological progress.
If a previous discussion
is about the ebook understanding in general. There's a more specific ebook
understanding. Of course the understanding is interpreted by experts.
1. According to the whals
The first understanding of ebook was delivered
by whalts. Who's whalts, maybe? Wait a minute, what's in this is not a name for
an expert figure.
But one of the web
portals, whalts.com, which suggests ebook is an electronic version of a book
extracted from a traditional print book. Ebook is not read from smartphone, it
can be read from a computer.
2.
Oxford dictionaries
Not far from the Oxford dictionaries' Oxford
dictionaries included in the pages of oxforddictionary.com. Where ebook is a
converted printing book into electronic form. Where the ebook can be read using
handheld devices and computers.
3.
Danang
If the above ebook understanding is more
focused on the portals of online websites, it's really someone's opinion this
time. One of them is the danang (2009) which suggests that ebook isa printout
of an electronic version that can be read on a device, a computer and mobile
phone, and another electronic that suport can read the ebook document.
4. Putu
Laxman Pendit
It is not much different from the opinion of
putu laxman, which simplifies that ebook as a printed book translated into
electronics, so it can be read on a monitor screen.
As we know, the ebook
is packed in digital form. Nevertheless, ebook retained intellectual property
rights, so laws protected every work of ebook.
Meanwhile, rambling
from publication of the book, ebook understanding is a book in a digital
version. Ebook or electronic book is also called digital book. Digital books
present information of text, pictures, videos, audio, as well as other multimedia
forms that can be opened through laptops, computers, and smartphones.
2. The
Purpose of The Ebook in General
In addition to the
distribution of information and learning, ebook also has a purpose for
facilitating bookmaking, saving bookmaking costs, facilitating the distribution
of information and much more.
a. Simplifying in book
making
The aim of ebook
production is no other than the convenience of the electronic book itself. Why
make ebook simple? At least when it comes to making ebook we won't have to take
care of the printing problem anymore. Where the process for printing takes
longer, and not to mention we're going to have to charge it ourselves.
Although ebook is much
simpler, it is here that authors should also be able to keep ebook as
interesting as possible. So that when the ebook hits the market, there is still
a lot of interest and interest. For example, the readership problem for young
people, which is familiar with digitisation.
b. Saves expense from
books
It's been mentioned
before. That makes the ebook much more friendly pockets. Because it saves
bookmaking. There are many things we've saved.
The cost of printing,
the cost of machines, and the saving of book distributors, for example. Well,
looking at some points that you can save, ebook publishing might be the right
solution.
c.Spread faster
Because ebook relies
heavily on the speed of technology to the public literacy awareness of ebook.
Thus, ebook is one of the correct means. So the ebook can not only be
distributed over a computer network, but also through a drive or a hard drive.
d. Ebook protection
One might wonder
regarding the security level of the ebook itself. Where ebook is considered to
be easy to duplicate or something. Relax, because the online world is also a
step ahead. The chapter, the ebook is also protected by encryption in order to
prevent duplication, plowing, or something. As for another way to protect
ebook, that is by protecting a special password.
Some of these points
are partial when viewed in terms of intent. There are many other objectives
that were never mentioned.
3.
5 Free E-Books Sites
a. Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing
(KDP)
The amazon kindle
direct publishing (KDP) is a free e-publishing site that allows you to publish
your ebook without paying a dime to the publishers.
To download ebook to
the site, you may have to convert it to an amazonian format. The web
automatically converts word format (doc), PDF, HTML, and epub to kindle's
format.
However, you can also
use calibre or mobipocket ebook creator to easily convert ebook to the
necessary format without paying any additional amount. Using free software you can
convert from a large number of formats. Moreover, conversion software can
change font scale to ensure that it matches amazon specs.
When you publish ebook,
you have the option to make it exclusive to an amazon kindle for a limited
period of time. In this way your ebook will be included in the loan library of
kindle owners that enables you to obtain a certain percentage of the sale. You
can read more about this program here.
b. Barnes & Noble
Press™
Previously known as Nook
press, Barnes & noble press workshops became part of the bookseller's bid
in 2018. The re-launch changed the name of the press, so it was easier to be
approached by the self-published author.
Providing much easier,
smoother, and simplified user experience, the b&n press website has gained
popularity fairly quickly. In fact, companies account for 3% of the us ebook
sales.
If you have a complete,
edited, and ready manuscript for the world, it will take you less than 72 hours
to create an account and display your book in n&n's online.
The publishers of this
digital book are quick and free to use, competing with other online publishers.
If you want to take your self-publishing business to the next level, it also
offers a printing service where customers can order a hardcover version or paperback
of your ebook.
c. Smashwords
Smashwords is one of
the leading pioneers of ebook publishing. This offered the multiple choice of
published books containing the work of more than 40,000 writers. You can also
publish your ebook on the website without paying money.
By using the
publisher's digital book service, you will be able to quickly release your
ebook to various online stores in no time.
Publishing your ebook in smashwords is a diy
job. You first have to download ebook and cover pictures using the 'meta
grinder 'tool on the site. The online device will create the ebook in the
required format in just a few minutes. And that's it.
You can sell and
promote ebook directly on the independent publishing platform. In addition, you
have the option of selling ebook to apple ibooks, inotebooks Barnes &
noble, baker & Taylor's bilo, kobo, and many other large online publishing
platforms. Online publishers have also been making agreements with third-party
companies like axis 360 owned by baker & taylors because ebook is being
distributed to public libraries.
Nowadays, smashwords
does not support the ebook publishing to the KDP amazon. And the chances of
this not changing any time soon. The amazon does not allow automatic download
for title smashwords. So you should either upload an ebook directly to the PPK
or use another third-party publishing platform.
d. Apple eBook Store
ibook Apple and iTunes
U are two free self-publishing platforms that allow you to maximize your eBook
exposure. You can find out more about the online self-publishing platform by
clicking here. Both online stores have different requirements for uploading
digital books.
To publish your ebook
to iBooks store or iTunes U, you have to convert files to ePub or iBooks
format. You can use the free conversion tool mentioned earlier to convert the
book. For publishing at itunes u, the file must be kept as a an.ePub file or as
.ibook.
If you want to publish
your work as a subscription product through ibook store, you must use iBook
format. However, for maximum ebook exposuctions, you should consider uploading
eBook as ePub, PDF, or text files in order to make your digital work freely
available on another platform.
You can publish your ebook to iBook store for
free via iTunes connect. This requires you to complete the online application.
Once you have successfully enrolled to the site, you can download the producers
of itunes to sell eBook in ibook stores. You can make your digital work
available at the store for free or set a price on eBook.
e. Rakuten Kobo Writing
Life
Last, Rakuten Kobo's
Writing Life is another perfect web site to save your ebook for potential
readers to find. Competing with an amazon kindle, the kobo has its own e-reader
tablet and its own library.
You have access to
millions of readers. All you have to do is set up an account, describe your
ebook, upload content, select relevant publishing rights, and choose a price.
If your book is
professionally corrected, the platform will do the rest for you and will come
out in the proper format (epub) in a matter of seconds. And there you have an
e-book to read everyone.
One of the most unique
things the kobo offers in the ebook country is its exposure to Canadian
readers. Surprisingly, the platform accounts for 25% of the ebook sales in
northern Canada.
In the last note, the
effort made to publish ebook was invaluable in the end. For individuals, it can
serve as an additional source of income. Businesses can make a profit by
publishing ebook by not only increasing their income but also promoting their
products and services online. But the most promising of all these web site
offers is the realization and realization of a writer's dream of becoming a
writer.

5 E-Book Publisher Sites in Indonesia
As of 2020, the backlog
of electronic books in Indonesia's own publishing industry has not been as fast
as abroad. Nevertheless, the e-book has its own marketplace and continues to
grow. Like the official gramedia blog published. According to a survey
conducted by a digital gramedia 2019, the 85% range of digital media users
chose e-book as the most widely used digital media against other media. Of the
total, the majority vote came from gene y, who was 25-40 years old.
Quivering e-book
doesn't just stop on the survey. In fact, many Indonesian publishers present
e-book formats. Here is 5 e-book publisher:
Sumber: crafters.getcraft.com
Introduced by gramedia
in the gramedia compass fair 2013. The gramediana provided platforms for
publishers, writers, and book readers. In addition to providing books in
digital formats that can be read on the desktop and mobile, the gramediana also
sells print books through supply-print technology. Writers can also publish
self-help books through these platforms.
b.

3. How to
Calculate The Cost of Producing Script?

publishing, we can find out the price of a book print by merely uploading a
work file. Starting with content, cover design and paper choices, cover and
other finishing options. A pricing calculation would immediately appear before
long according to the number of books it would like to print. With these price
calculations features, we can prepare or adjust the existing budget by
uploading our books.
4. How to
Market The Script?
There are some tips for
marketing the books:
a. Quizzes on social media
The sophistication of the
digital age as we now must capture it as an opportunity. Social media like
facebook, twitter, and instagram are still popular in the fatherland and can we
conjure up effective promotional vehicles. The trick is simple: make a quiz
that relates to the book that wants to be promoted. Because of the form of a
quiz, the question or assignment should be easy to stimulate the warganets to participate.
Unconditionally complicated or complicated mechanisms. Gifts can be pulse,
money, or even the appropriate book.
b. Review contest
It is common for new books
to be released, book reviews become the definitive solution to introducing the
title to the public. The blogging review contest may be considered with a key
word or a particular backlink that will spread the content of the book we are
writing in the universe. If blogs don't allow it, facebook and instagram can be
alternatives. The prize could be money, goods, or book packages.
c. Book of Tours
Blogging benefits for
writers can also be expressed through the book tour. The book tour usually
involves a number of bloggers whose views are relevant to the world of
literacy, which is grateful if they have a large readership. The author may
reason with us by sending the new book to the selected bloggers to hold the
book tour in the timeline. The writer is also willing to send a book as a gift
to the lucky reader on each blog.
d. Book surgeon
New books are surgical to go
into the literated radar. Book review or book surgeon provides opportunities
for writers and publishers to greet older readers or encourage new ones. A book
surgeon can be surgically removed in a local library or another public place
that is potentially attracting mass attention such as a cafe. Presents another
writer or competent and influential figure to speak as a surgeon. The concept
allows the budget to adjust.
e. Send the reviews to the
media
Like the program reviews,
sending reviews to the media was a brilliant idea to spread the news of our
book publication. Whether they are online or printed online, reviews can do
much to boost names and themes. The reader also learned about the objectively
weighed titles and bookshelves that are worth buying.
f. Participating in the contest
Although it is not as old as
it used to be, the writing of books still exists in Indonesia. A book that we
have published may be sent to the organizers for selection among other books.
Through the best book literally as is regularly helped by ikapi, we can both
voice certain ideas and achieve a potential for victory that means free
promotion to the work.
g. Embrace the community
If we're going to succeed
quickly and accelerate, including dissolving the book, we need to be able to
synergize and collaborate. Embracing the community is a clever move to
broadcast our books to wide readers. So many communities are growing and living
in Indonesia. Look for communities that are as spiritual as we are to encourage
positive activities together.
Maybe it's a fairy-tale
community, a bike riding community, a community of marketers, the gaming
teenagers, and so much more we can exploit. Various communities help us amplify
book echoes with members who frequently cross borders.
h. Famous figure endorsement
Asking public or public
figures to give an opinion on our book can also be tried to shore up sales. May
be officials, writers, or artists if possible. These updates we can reiterate
as social media promotions, including blogs. Not only is our photo with the
character displayed as postif's suggestion that the character is also willing
to read our book.
There are also many other
effective tips for marketing books. Try some of the above ways to explore a new
market or to strengthen the old market. Whatever the platform, whether it is
publisher indie or major, the author must creatively market the book to
communicate ideas that are helpful to wide readers.
